NoLoad FundX on Hulbert’s Newsletter Honor Roll

by noloadfundx on December 16, 2010

Noload FundX once again made it onto the Newsletter Honor Roll published by The Hulbert Financial Digest.

To gain entrance to the 2011 Honor Roll, a newsletter must have had above average  in both up and down markets during the period 6/30/1998 to 11/30/2010 and beat the stock market on a Sharpe Ratio basis (a measure of risk-adjusted return).

Compared to the other eight newsletters on the 2011 Honor Roll, NoLoad FundX had the highest grade in an up market with a score of 81.6 (a percentile rank) and one of the highest annualized returns (9.0%). NoLoad FundX was also one of just six newsletters from the 2010 Honor Roll to make it onto this year’s list.

How meaningful is the Hulbert Financial Digest’s Honor Roll? In the December 2010 issue, Mark Hulbert writes that  “the newsletters on last year’s Honor Roll did better over the last 12 months than those that did not. We have seen a similar pattern every year this decade.”
